Mostar day trip from Dubrovnik

PRIVATE TRIP FROM DUBROVNIK

Mostar day trip

Mostar is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is also known as a place where East meets West. The explanation for this statement is to be found in its turbulent history and rich culture.

The symbol of Mostar and its most popular sight is the Old Bridge (Stari most), which connects two banks of the river Neretva - two worlds; East and West. The importance of the Mostar Old Bridge, with its historic core, is recognized by UNESCO, which put the area on the list of world heritage sites. From both sides of the Mostar Old Bridge, picturesque streets remind Ottoman times. At first glance, the Ottoman influence is present mainly in Mostar's Old Town architecture, but the one you could appreciate the most can be discovered in local food.

A day trip to Mostar also includes visiting Pocitelj, another Ottoman-shaped settlement from the 15th century.
